Gregory Allan Ness, owner of Coastal Interiors, has spent two decades helping his clients realize the homes of their dreams. A career that began in high-end residential development turned into an unmistakable passion for interior design that has led to international success. For the past three years, Gregory has served as Senior Designer for the Italian Division of Sarahliz Lawson Design, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His work in Tuscany, Italy specialized in the restoration of eighteenth century estate villas located on one hundred acre vineyards. Known for timeless elegance with a modern sensibility, his work has been featured in magazine publications and contributed to multiple ASID awards. Gregory has earned a reputation for paying the utmost attention to every detail. He strongly believes that the items closest to us must be afforded the greatest of consideration.
Gregory has returned to his childhood home of Vero Beach to open his own design firm, Coastal Interiors, located on Beachland Boulevard.  He is currently working on several projects on the barrier island and looks forward to continuing his career, while enjoying the ability to be closer to his family and friends.

Page Franzel, Owner and President of Page 2 Design is celebrating her 10th year providing extraordinary design services in the community of Vero Beach. Her first soiree of owning a successful design business happened on the island of Oahu. After moving back to the mainland, she quickly realized that she longed to be back in a warm, tropical climate. She eventually made the journey to Florida and beautiful Vero Beach. Thinking the move might be the beginning of her eventual retirement, those thoughts quickly diminished when she realized that design not only defined her but was also a passion and talent she could not ignore.

After finding her niche in Vero Beach she opened her design studio in 2009 and never looked back. Page feels blessed to have worked on such amazing design projects over the years. Her talent includes the ability to exhibit diverse styles and color palettes to clients ranging from contemporary to traditional, including an eye to re-purpose her clients’ existing furniture and pieces to make the final project uniquely their own. Page 2 Design continues to support multiple non-profit organizations that help make our local community such a wonderful place to live for everyone.

Owner and founder of VB Home, Eilis Powers, a New York native, relocated to sunny Florida to open a home furnishings store. Overall, the goal was to create a storefront for the citizens of Vero Beach to shop and utilize as a design workspace.

Now opening her second location, VB Home has already grown into a haven for clients and designers alike to treasure hunt and find great inspiration. Her designs are fresh and airy and combine both modern and traditional elements.

Kitchen
After serving in the US Air Force and a stint in Vero Beach working under Penny Chandler at the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, Christiana Lipscombe entered the creative and chaotic construction industry in Roanoke, Virginia circa 2004. Working around construction sites day after day offered an education that cannot be taught in a school room.  In 2006, she bought, renovated and flipped her first property.  That was to become her full-time profession for the next 10 years. As she watched the market in Vero Beach improve, she looked for a new adventure which is what compelled her to open a cabinet design business in 2016. She opened her shop with a desk, some sample doors and a lot of passion and enthusiasm.  Her skill and eagerness to deliver top notch customer service draws the attention of builders, designers and discerning clientele alike.

Josh Cook travels and works directly with cottage industries in Bali and Java to produce artesian furnishings for coastal living. The items are made from recycled teak or plantation grown teak and are made by hand using construction techniques that have been passed down through the generations. The result is furnishings that are carefully made by craftsmen and show a uniqueness in contemporary interiors and airy, island settings.

In the Gardens

“Your garden should reflect and enhance your lifestyle.” With this thought always in mind, Victor A. Aprea at Potted Garden & Design brings a strong sense of the environment, gardening and aesthetic details to every project. As a University of Florida certified Master Gardener, he offers design, installation and maintenance of garden environments. From garden pots to lifestyle spaces, Victor discovers, listens and then creates gardens for personal spaces and clients. Victor’s design education began with earning a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. This background of design principles in the visual arts – texture, color, balance, space – enhanced his aptitude for the garden arts. His garden design integrates materials that exemplify a client’s image and brand, of themselves and their environment.
